A downloadable game for Windows

The entire world has declared war against God. In response, God has declared war against the entire world.

In other words, it's time for that fucking crusade.

VERSEBREAK is a fast-paced ultraviolent elemental FPS set in a unique world where the entirety of history has been falsified and re-written. Rip your way through augmented humans, monsters, and demons to tear apart an evil cult that controls the entire world.

  • Use the four elements in unique ways to brutally kill enemies
  • Combine abilities together to form even stronger abilities
  • MANIPULATE abilities mid-flight to make them more powerful and gain fine control over their movement
  • Kill enemies in complex or stylish ways to temporarily increase your brain power, granting access to even more powerful abilities
  • Use advanced movement techniques that let you move freely in any direction, both inside and outside of combat. Including: Dashing, Multi-Jumping, Flame Propulsion

This is a free demo of the Prologue of VERSEBREAK, consisting of:

  • 4 campaign levels, and a secret level with an Immortal boss
  • 3 enemy types and 3 bosses
  • Multiple Water and Fire abilities (with various ability combinations)
  • 3 difficulties
  • The introduction to a detailed multi-layered story told through environmental storytelling and hidden books

VERSEBREAK will be available in early access on Steam in late 2024. If you have any feedback or want to follow along with development progress, check out these links:
